Integrated Translational Research Core
This core is the information and communication hub of the Center. It functions not only as a central repository for all the samples and data shared by the other cores, but as a catalyst for interdisciplinary research. Rather than focusing on just one area (e.g. immunology) without context to patients or biological systems (e.g. epithelium or microbiota), the translational method brings basic and clinical researchers together in pursuit of deeper understanding of human health. The University of Chicago DDRCC is proud to be a leader in this growing field.
Translational research services are currently provided at no cost. Priority is given to new investigators and those who have received a pilot and feasibility award.
